Uhoh. My exodus for the holy land begins tommorow (alta for the winter.) The weather is supposed to be in front of me, not behind me. Oh, well...here's all my vibes for youse guys to get yours this winter. Hope it starts early.

Can I say it yet? Well, here goes...

This tease of snow...it is so familiar. But just like that lying shiteating boyfriend who swore that it only happened one time and he would never cheat again...I just don't know if I can trust this snow report. No accumulation they say? But..but...but how is that possible when the snow level is supposed to be below 6K for 3 days with showers predicted? THEY LIE....THEY LIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok yeah...Time to start the snow praying and such. Drink beers with names like Snow Plow and Powderhound. Watch ski movies on repeat until you can hear the music and know exactly what part of which athletes segment is playing. Tune your skis or intend to tune them as soon as that bastard from American Airlines delivers them (they told me tomorrow afternoon). Drool over the potential quiver additions for this year. Figure out how to pay for said additions. Take pass pictures and yes, start religiously checking the weather and freezing levels. I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer actually seeing Monique and GirlSki puke instead of the ninja puking that they seem to have down to a fine art.

    Thumbs up

just landed at sea tac from a weekend in La$ Vega$
I can definitely confirm it's snowing about 4,000 feet above Seattle. as the plane started to descend into the clouds, it wasn't rain that was flying by out the windows, but SNOW! I overheard a couple other passengers exclaim with surprise, "uh, honey, that's not rain- it's SNOWING!"

    BRRRRRRIIINNNNNNG IT!

I HEART my clients who just called and cancelled our Seattle meetings today. This means if I'm a good little consultant and work this a.m. I can get up to Crystal or Chinook Pass and hike this afternoon to check out the snowfall first hand. happy happy.

I've heard people hit it at 12 -18". I'm planning to hold out for 20" (and a frozen lake). Have you ever skied the North Face? It seems like that would be skiable sooner than the South face.

Hotel industry doesn't pay that well, but it does have it perks when it comes down to securing lodging.

As for airline tix-CREDIT CARD... but it was my dad's surprise 60th b-day so I couldn't exactly not go Fortunately, $150RT, price also made it possible. I just made sure to spend my time drinking instead of gambling!

    back to more important details...
a little bit more snow and I'm driving to Rainier or North Cascades in a week. Anyone else?
