I could be wrong on this, but it seems like a lot of the login issues people have derive from TGR having two different login systems (the forum and the "stash") that are sort of linked together but sort of separate.

Depending on how you get to the login page, you might get some sort of "stash" login which might not work because it uses a different password (or has some unknown default password set). If you get to the login via a forum element (like the reply page), it is more likely to work as it uses your forum account and that's the one you know.

I somehow fixed my login problems a couple months ago by trying to go through a password reset on the stash side of things and making sure that both my forum password and stash password were the same. Now I can login via both the "login" button OR the reply method.

I'm not sure my fix works anymore as it looks like TGR has discontinued the stash (whatever the heck it was in the first place) which means the links to change your password are all broken...probably part of why so many people are having login issues.

Prior to the new platform switch, that was my go-to way to log in. Now even this doesn't work; the forum pops up for a second or two and then the screen goes completely white.

How is it not working if you are posting?

The white screen is because the page style you/me are using (dropdown box at the very bottom left) is "New TGR Blue" even if it is the old school TGR blue. "TGR White" doesn't give that blank white screen at the main forum page. But I hate it, so I will stick with the blue and just avoid the main page. The "main" forum URL is now forums.tetongravity.com/ and THAT page doesn't like TGR Blue. But the blank screen doesn't happen at specific forum pages, like forums.tetongravity.com/forumdisplay.php/7 for the padded room.

I go to the (old?) log-in page from a google search for TGR and hit the "click here for help" link, which takes me to the lost password recovery page and then hit the new posts sub-heading and ......Bob's your uncle.
