Hooper goes in the cage. Cage goes in the water. Shark’s in the water. Our shark.

I was with my parents on Green Turtle Cay the summer the book came out and we all read. Yelling shark while mom was swimming in a channel off the shore was so much fun….and I got in so much trouble.Wait we can embed videos again, there is hope ..........................but apparently text doesn't allow carriage returns so the text all runs together on safari

This is a great documentary on the making of Jaws.

Afraid of swimming? I was afraid to even have my feet dangling off the couch while watching that movie

    Genious for its time.
The second half of the movie is still engaging.
The first half of the movie has snooze inducing pacing by 21st century standards.

I don’t know, that scene at the beginning where the night swimming girl gets thrashed by the unseen shark is pretty gripping right out of the gate.

    Jaws Turns [emoji[emoji2390][emoji[emoji2390]391]9[emoji[emoji2390]391]]0

All movies from the before times are a snooze pace compared to the short attention span scenes today. My daughter lasted no more thsn thirty min of Star Wars before declaring it boring af. She was right

Jaws has a lot of beats right out of the gate that keep it moving the whole way and holds up pretty damn well considering it’s fifty years old

Ffs beer cans were still made of tin back then

A lot of that was a result from production problems - Bruce the shark and the weather issues made Spielberg take more time with the on shore shots and story instead of on the water shark action. Ended up working pretty well.

I watched Gattacca with my 15 y.o. recently. He ended up liking it but had a hard time for the first 30-45 minutes. Overall it holds up pretty well.
