When I had cancer/six mos chemo I worked one shift in clinic every two weeks only to stay sane, survived financially on short/long term disability. But the disability was employee sponsored, so if they had let me go I’d have lost it. My Montana employer was great, I’m healthy, and still working there.

If I had any sum of money, my fantasy is starting a charity to fund people during cancer treatment. Chemo is hard enough, people shouldn’t add the burden of working/bankruptcies/foreclosures to that burden.
