    the TD leaders are just leaving fernie right now. 12 hours, 250km, average 21km/hour.


    and now at 330miles/525km in 24 hours.

    Been seeing a bunch of racers rolling through Whitefish today.

    Damn, crazy fast starts this year. There are a number of racers ahead of both the men's and women's record dots. This Swiss guy is set to blow everyone away if he keeps this up.

    Fire just north of Silver City, NM, that has the northbound riders on a detour. If the detour is still in place when the leaders arrive, no record for them (a bummer).

    Jericho Mountain fire near Helena, MT has closed the CDT but I don't think it will affect the tour route.
