Helmets for Skinny Head

Who makes ski helmets for skinny oval heads? My Smith Vantage is due for replacement and there are big gaps between the helmet and sides of my head anyway. I'm rocking a real rectangle head. I tried on every helmet in the store when I was shopping for a new moto lid and very few fit well. Ended up with a 6D ATR2.

The atomic I have is pretty oval, I can wear a smith since they are too round.

I went through this last year. Tried on a tonne of helmets. Ended up with a Giro Tenet. It was the most oval of any helmet I tried; specifically, it seemed to be slightly longer than other Giros so I am just able to squeeze into a small, which is an absolute necessity for me.

ETA: if you ever end up looking at bike helmets, try on Specialized. Have been wearing them for three decades, have tried a lot of others that are supposed to fit oval heads, including trying on a bunch of road helmets a couple years ago, and Specialized are just more oval than the others. Giro and one POC were close, same width but they were just a touch to short for me to squeeze into a small.

I'm in a Giro Range with a very pointy head, on my second one now. Conform Fit actually changes the width of the shell, it's the best fitting helmet I've owned.

Huh. The Range didn't work for me when I tried it on. I am not certain, but it could be that the shell was too short for me to fit in a small.

Sounds like I should try Giro. Good info on Specialized MTB. TLD A1 works great for me, and POC fits as well. No go on the newer TLDs.
