    Old broken gear disposal?

Other than the trash, what are ways to dispose of broken/torn gear these days? I have two tent bodies that are trashed beyond what seems repairable and are missing their poles and rainflys. I probably have some other old shit, too, that’s fubar.

    Old broken gear disposal?

that stuff I’m unsure about - I just asked my housemate who is in the industry and he said textiles just aren’t recyclable because there are so many things going on - fabrics and coatings and such

    Tecnica is recycling boots

Scarpa makes a Maestrale Remade that uses all their old plastic leftover from decades of manufacturing

    Jones is recycling snowboard

you could just chuck it on a burn pile - dilution is the solution to pollution eh?
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

If you have any climbing friends the floor of a tent makes a great rope tarp.
