Needed: Tyrolia / Head Wide Ski Jig Adapter

I'm beginning to think that this adapter is a unicorn. None of my local shops seem to have one or have ever seen these feet extenders - so far I have tried Granite Chief, Start Haus, Sports Hub, Tahoe Dave's, and Blue Zone. I have also called and emailed Tyrolia rep for help. No one seems to be able to track one of these down.. The tech manual calls it out as part number #162569. I'm struggling to understand how no one has ever wanted to mount Tyrolia Protector 13GW bindings on fat skis? I'd be super stoked if anyone has a lead on this thing. I am finally cleared to ski pow after over a year and I am itching to get some new skis mounted in time for this storm cycle.

Do you really need extenders? Why not just treat it like a paper template? Find the center of the template, place it on the center of the ski with a clamp, et voila! You are now one step closer to having mounted yer own fucking skis.

I like it when professionals in shops mount my skis. I also just had ACL reconstruction 12 months ago and don't need to go through that again because I measured wrong or set my forward pressure incorrectly on bindings with new technology that I don't totallly understand yet.

I found the adapters at Elite Feet (thanks Remy you're the man!). I am going to CAD them and 3D print some so if anyone else needs these they can DM me

Sounds like you have it sorted, but IIRC Tyrolia stopped offering the wide extensions when they came out with the W(wide) version of that jig.

We had some extensions at the shop I worked at 10ish years ago, and it was possible to misalign the jig with them installed because the metal feet of the jig didn't seat far enough into the plastic extensions, causing them to toe outward. It's a pretty sloppy deal.

I'm only mentioning this because you might be able to improve the design by deepening the top slots on the extension that the jig fits into to give the jig a little more positive purchase.
