its boundaries are limitless. more of a state of mind. if yer from here, yer always gonna be from here.

301 inches at woods valley so far this year with plenty of winter yet to come. thats means runoff is gonna last for months of rafting and kayaking salmon fishing on the moose river and fish creek. if a man and his girl, whose tits we have yet to see and pass judgement on and whom claim to be mountain enthusiasts, cant live happily ever after with that bounty can they really be happy anywhere? i say no.

many, many more bars than grocery stores. take Owsego for example. solid work and commitment to the raising of the wrist by the whole town lead the Guinness Book of World Records to bestow Oswego with the honor of holding the world record for having the most bars per square mile of any city in these United States.

Being nearly fifty with a family of five across multiple nations and cultures, I can't help but wonder if I had no kids, was not married, had a remote gig, if I wouldn't just hop ship. I mean, I would not wanna trade what I have now, but that is hindsight. Had I not known how the present would be... hmmm... I gotta say, if I were that age with that career and the woman I was with was not an obvious ring, I would literally fly to another country. Just saying. When you know you know. And if you don't know... go somewhere.

thats a place a young man needs to move too

not bad a few months out of the year misserable most of the year hence the number of bars but if you like snowmobiling dark grey skies and a howling wind lots of depression heavy drug use I'd move to oswego in a second plenty of townie vs college student fights in those days

my favorite was some drinking and weed smoking then some bar hopping all over town they never id anyone plenty of coke then to top off the nite we drank a bunch of robotussin at home
had a huge robo phase when I was 17 to 19

Tony left to go home and it could have been a few minutes or an hour who really new

so my best buddy goes to check on Tony for some bizzare reason sure enough tony is a few houses away crawling down the sidewalk in his underware in the middle of winter

Salt Life is dead (vibes to those who live 1,000 miles from the nearest ocean who still rock it on their F-850 duallys).

Upstates Life would be way more appropriate.

Paid off in dividends. We may not live in the mountains any longer, BUT she's my ride or die, and always down to follow me wherever life takes us. She relishes the adventure of life. And she absolutely crushes me on the mountain which is fun beyond words. I can't keep up with her, she smack talks me about it, and I love it. I had a wonderful, beautiful GF who told me straight up she wanted to end up by her family in small town, rural Oklahoma. Effffff that. I had a feeling that no matter how great she was in youth of a burgeoning relationship. after a certain point it would eventually turn into low key resentment then worse from there. You're not married yet and no kids to factor in, so consider yourself lucky. You are free to do whatever you think is best. If she's "the one," then great! But you have to be willing to sacrifice a lot, perhaps the very essence of who you are. I'm ok with differences of interests, BUT moving somewhere that doesn't line up with YOUR interests is a different matter altogether. Oof. Good luck, mate. Sums up most of my feelings pretty well. Also have ended many relationaships due to lifestyle differences.

Aint no way in hell Id be moving to MN. I left NY to be in the real mountains but also in part to GET AWAY from my family. Dont have much in common with most of them to this day. If youre like me and into mountain sports/gravity sports, there won't be much of that for you in MN. Actual mountain biking seems extremely sparse and the vertical is like 200 feet, same with the skiing. This stuff is a part of me. If I had to leave it behind I'd be miserable. That would lead to regrets, which would lead to the kind of resentment that can and has ended many relationships.
