It’s solid gear. You just missed their 30% off promo. Hang on until it comes back or email them for a code.

I bought jackets and pants from them for my kids back when they were called Shred Dog. My kids are notoriously hard on gear and the jackets held up really well for several seasons. The pants only made it one season though. I thought the jackets were high quality and I would buy again. I wouldn’t rebuy the pants though.

My kid skis a used jacket we picked up for cheap. Build quality seems solid.

I've got the 2.75L Legend shell, and it's my favorite soft shell. The pockets, vents (I love the flow-through armpit-to-shoulder vents), and snap-back hood are killer. The fabric is fade-resistant (no noticeable fading after ~30 days or so--much better than my TNF GTX Pro shell which faded to a completely different color in ~20 days!). The fabric also repels staining really, really well (chairlift grease that dropped on me in a rain storm just wiped right off!).Only downside is that my copy of the shell tends to wet out and eventually soak through. Akova has since taken the 2.75L shell off the site, and a local Akova rep stated that they would "take care of me." Awesome company to work with.

Do they have a roomy collar? I like the collar on my jackets to come up over my chin or at least not be tight in that regard. Arcteryx Rush doesnt do well in that department, Elevenate does this great.

The collar on my legend zips up to cover my bottom lip.

I appreciate the detailed photos. It's like they actually want people to buy their stuff. Would appreciate more info on denier. Not that I'm in the market for a new outfit.
    No longer stuck.

Got my Elevated Harshell today...Fit is good and in line with other brands XL. The sleeves and torso are long enough for me. Nice, roomy collar, lined pockets and some sort of backing on the inside but not heavy and the outer isnt wrinkly like my Arcteryx. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
