Anyone watched/watching this? It's kinda crazy but I've become hooked.
Set in 1945 (starts the day the WWII ended) in Stockholm it is anything but tame. There are lesbian trists, drunken homosexual escapades, blackmail, black market crime, back ally abortions, nudity, violencef, anti-semites and star crossed lovers. It all revolves around one family and the restaurant they own. English subtitles. I'm watching it on Acorn.

Okiay.... I finished the series and I give it two thumbs up.If I was going to compare it to an American series I would say it is more like Dallas or Dynasty with regard to the family dynamic.I like that they worked in some real life political events and used historical footage of those events (Vietnam protests, The Elms protest etc). </p>Last edited by KQ; 03-10-2025 at 05:05 PM.

FYI if anyone is going to watch this watch season 4 after season 2.
