    Anybody heard of Precision Mountainwear??

If so, can you tell me anything about the clothing brand? Something tells me this is some Academy-grade bullshit (to all you non-southerners, think chain outdoor department store somewhere in-between Walmart and Dicks).

I don't know that they are still producing anything under that brand name. Now defunct shop I once worked for used to carry that stuff for ski swaps back in the day, perfect for the El Paso crowd or Sniagrab. Manufacturing was always decent, it didn't fall apart and the size runs were consistent, but not something I would recommend for the PNW or back east (or any situation that might require actual waterproofing). But there were plenty of brands making ski and snowboard clothing 20-25 years ago that was just cheap crap, thank god arc'teryx came along to save us from affordable outerwear.
