Just because Palmer was the first player signed doesn't mean he was the top priority, negotiations all take on a life of their own. Could just be it was the first deal that got done.

Apparently, the Bills wanted a man beater to replace Cooper. Palmer was 8th in man coverage separation league wide.

One of the local Bills podcasters was super high on him.

well, not the pass rusher we wanted but Joey Bosa is buffalo bound!! misread it as Nick at first and was not psyched. fuck that retard. Joey seems like a solid dude though. happy with it and while he definitely won't bring the production of Hendrickson, 12.5mil seems like a solid deal.

That’s good news. Hopefully he can stay healthy with a limited workload. Love the extensions they’ve made, too. Except Hamlin, but they don’t have any choice at s at this point.

Is k picket the presumed starter at cle now?

For fucks sake, I hope Kenny Pickett never sees the field in CLE. The way it has been explained to me by the sports radio braintrust, Kenny Pickett is a 1st round QB on a rookie deal that brings some higher level of talent at a bargain basement price all with the added benefit of knowledge of the Steelers organization. Given that Watson will still be technically on the roster despite never likely to take another snap for the team (what a fucking albatross) the Browns need to bring in at least 3 more QBs to fill the room. Pickett will be QB3, Flacco/Cousins/Fields/Kosar/Testaverde will be the wily veteran QB2 that should start the season, and Ward/Sanders/Dart will be the rookie QB1 that will forever redeem the franchise from the Watson trade and lead them to multiple super bowl victories in the coming years.

Ian Rappaport says that Russell Wilson has scheduled a meeting in Cleveland for next week.

Re: Joey Bosa - be available, that’s all we can hope for. If he can he stands to make mega bank from someone else next year. It’s a risky play with high upside

Re: Hamlin - he was more than serviceable last season, he and Cam Lewis are the [emoji639]rd and [emoji640]th safety behind Rapp and Bishop next year.

I thought Hamlin was pretty brutal. Any time he or Elam were on the field I cringed. I’m always happy for him, but he’s a liability.

My team lost a lot - on D. I trust howie and Vic though….big contracts need to be paid next 2 years. But howie, based on some these trades received a bunch of picks - team has 20 draft picks right now in the next 2 years….insane.

hey pack fans - we took a chance on aj Dillion yesterday - good move? Guess health is everything with him.

Niners fan who isn't freaking out at all. This is trimming the fat. We have a shit ton of picks. It's not a rebuild, it's a reshuffle. We also had an awesome draft last year that went under the radar - with two rookies who played at a pro bowl level. Green should have won defensive rookie of the year.

Welcome back to Pittsburgh Mason Rudolph. Myles Garrett will send you a gift basket I'm sure.

Its remarkable how many god awful quarterbacks there are.

He said he’s excited for the competition within the division. Does he remember getting smashed in the head with his own helmet?

Kinda can’t wait to see where a a ron and Wilson end up.

At this rate I expect A A yhuasca to end up in PIT which will be fucking hilarious must see TV.

at the other end of the spectrum is the Browns who will have Russ, Pickett and every other shitbag journeyman QB the Steelers ever had, plus sexual predator and invalid Deshaun Watson, staffing the QB room.

I hear Jonny Manziel would like to reboot his image as well, should be extremely affordable.

An offense with KWIII, Zach Charbonnet, JSN, and Cooper Kupp is a loaded cannon but oops I forgot Sam Darnold is the QB

A-A-Ron in the building in Pittsburgh today, apparently to sign a deal, which means several things:
Ayuhuasca Aaron, DK Metcalf, Crazy George Pickens, and TJ Watt will be, without a doubt, the most dysfunctional locker room in football and also must-see TV.
Mike Tomlin will lose his job.
Russell Wilson says Lets Ride to Cleveland.

I actually believe if Pittsburgh doesn’t win a playoff game this year Tomlin might be gone. It’s a franchise with five rings. He’s desperate to find a QB.

Taking a page out of the Michel Irvin playbook, apparently Brandon Jacobs railed some blow before a game and put up 338 yards and 4 TDs. Hell of a drug.
