^^ The Broncos haven't resigned Zach Wilson yet, so there's still hope for Cleveland!

Fields to the Jets. Is Rodgers going to Seattle or Pittsburgh?
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

I was going to say Sweat and Palmer to Buff, Sweat off to AZ but Palmer could/should be what the Bills WR corps needs. He can beat man coverage, solid route runner with good hands. He’s not coming in to be WR[emoji637]. Now let’s get a game wrecker for the d line

The game wreckers have all been signed, no?

Adding a mediocre receiver and letting a mediocre receiver or three walk is meaningless. I truly don’t understand why the bills can’t go all in.

Stoked to see Greenlaw to the Broncos - risky with his injury background but he is a a straight up maniac - which is exactly what the Broncos need in a linebacker.

They set a franchise record for most points in a season and tied the NFL record for the most 30 point games in a season.

If they land Hendrickson I will ask for forgiveness. My point is they need to get better if they want to do more than just make the playoffs.

That’s about right for a second tier QB. People keep seeing these numbers but you have to look at the market and how much the salary cap keeps going up. There are currently [emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] (and soon to be [emoji637][emoji637]) QB’s making [emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] million per or more.

I love how the box fan is calibrated to allow the user to quote a different post than the one actually trying to be quoted.

@atree Admittedly I'm a Joe Marino podcast listener, Josh Palmer was his #1 target for the Bills to sign. Palmer brings a skill set to the WR corps they don't currently have which should compliment what's already there at a $ amount they can handle. The offense wasn't the issue last year, the D is where the big $ should be spent. Aaaaand apparently Cinci just release Hendrickson so he'll probably have a new address by the end of the day.

The DL from Rams signed last night seems like an interesting chess piece, can play inside / outside and drop in coverage, big athletic dude.

Bummed Mack Hollins isn't coming back

if you double click the quote button it quotes the correct post

"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy

NFL 2025-2026 Birds Repeating? FLY!

I hear you re focusing on D, Ticketchecker. Who knows, maybe Palmer will be an impact player. Seems like just about any nfl receiver can have a career year with Allen throwing them the ball. But this is my point exactly, why is shuffling WR3s their fa priority?

I need to relax and adopt some of the collective’s optimism. And remind myself that making it to the division round of the playoffs is still way better than no postseason at all.

I also need to enjoy some of the crazy stuff that teams are trotting out. And Mike White hasn’t even been mentioned yet.

Just because Palmer was the first player signed doesn't mean he was the top priority, negotiations all take on a life of their own. Could just be it was the first deal that got done.
