Sometimes i start ponder the insanity of what that guy at Berthoud thought as he put his skis in the back of his truck, and saw a PBR with a post it note saying "Get after it." Maybe he was stoked, and knew exactly what it meant. Or maybe, he had no clue what the fuck it meant, and proceded to rip the note off and down the PBR. Either way, i hope he drank it. Cause if he didn't, we just wasted a friggin beer.

people out here drink beer with "clamato" mixed into it... my girlfriend was telling me a while back about how in iceland they mix hard liquor into beer because of the laws that country used to have against alcoholic beer... i tasted a pretty yummy mixture of wheat beer and banana nectar while in dresden... you of course should know about the irish car bomb.

maybe you shouldn't be worrying about which beer, but what to put into the beer that you do have?

Dont't know if it is your area, but... Big Rock Brewery, try their Honey Brown, if you like that sort of Beer, it is the only one I have tasted that actually tastes like it actually has honey in it. Otherwise, Traditional is a good mid dark beer, Grasshopper is a filtered wheat beer. In fact pretty much everything except Kold and Jackrabbit are good.

That one is definitely an interesting beer. I drank about ten pints of it when they had a party at a local bar here in Chicago introducing the Oberon. Since that night I've had a hard time stomaching them. Nevertheless, it is a good beer to start off with. I think the Belles Amber is better though..for what it's worth.

Mad Hatter is pretty decent....usually can be found fairly easily...
