Iceman has a list set up on Discord but not much traffic as of now unfortunately. I'm in a canoe group on Discord that is an adjunct to a Reddit group and the place is absolutely great...everyone is a real person...and they feel like my people if that is possible. Hard to keep up and pointers to information are tough but I could see it working next to this place or a Reddit, which has its place but...meh...too impersonal and too easy for riff raff to join in. I'm back in thanks to Dan, I had spent 2 months trying every suggestion, work around and even sent a message to the support address and crickets. The color of the dark background and the white screen vs the white screen...Finally as a last effort realizing that we may NEVER see a new working forum, I messaged a new password (had tried my password that was known and working before July, and even an old password that I had used before the reports of a possible breach of the site)....

We all are too. But after 2 months of no way to do anything other than read as a guest and unable to login with trying each and every work around- the FB group finally was the avenue with just having you put in a new password... Not sure how the many changes and "fixes" corrupted passwords (because I've really only changed the password I used 1 time when the site was working better)... So your efforts while probably time consuming is keeping this going while the hampster wheels to keep the box fan MAYBE some attention. Originally Posted by Danno

What really sucks is there has been no definitive communication. Many many mags have just given up on the board because either they can’t log in or have grown tired of the bullshit. This was such a cool corner of the internet with the personal connections, irreverent humor, tech talk and gear sales. The fact it has just been allowed to whither is a travesty. Truly hard to see Jones gives a flying fuck about the ski community.

Looks like a fellow Jon Dorn took over as CEO in May 2025. Steve Jones is still listed as president. I only dug for a couple minutes. Not sure if Jon bought a major stake in the company.
