edit 2: the edit function only works on my phone. Tried all the browsers on my laptop, and just get the spinning wheel.

Looks like my comment about the emojies was not clear: it's the TGR app (from ios?) posts that have them, they're just connected to a tapatalk url.

Ah gotcha. That thing never worked well for me I don’t think its available and definitely not supported anymore. Not sure what the issue is just using the desktop site on mobile.

My edit and quote buttons don’t work on any of my devices. For better or worse, they’re all apple.

502 Bad Gateway, is what I got when I clicked on beaterdit's post from the new posts page. I was checking in here to see if there has been any updates, and wanted to get subscribed to the thread.

I am running windows 10 home, and discovered the inability to post pictures after catching a couple of nice trout in frigid temperatures. The screen turns color to gray over the page and freezes.

May the crack tech squad be inspired and capable in fixing this latest breakdown. Amen.

I mean, that’d be a whole lot better than the place just going dark one day. If you’re willing and able, sure seems like they need someone to do it. Seems like there are a lot of people willing to throw down some cash to keep this place alive.

I’d pay $37 lump sum gofundme for the transfer and fixes then say $4.20/year subscription hahaha? Vice versa haha?

TBH, I have no idea what their plans are; they certainly know we're still here because I am pretty sure the IT stuff is outsourced (i.e. I assume they receive a bill for the work done here).

I’ve always used the TGR iPhone app and have always seemed to have less issues than any other platform. It does generate the garbled mess when I quote now though but other than that it is way less annoying than desktop on iPhone or tapacrap

I plan to try something like that in the near future. But I know babybear tried to start a conversation along similar lines a few years back and got nowhere. So I'm not super optimistic.

I did a half hour overvtand seems pretty manageable for me to start a new forum. That would definitely not include porting over old data.

Kicker is, I don't have the time to navigate the legal complexities of hosting nsfw images so if that kills the deal let me know.
