    DIY bamboo bikes?

    https://www.ebay.ca/itm/395590818977?var=664341190111

I'm NOT looking for high performance, but a fun winter project (with a buddy with PTSD that use to ride) Just something for a unique townbike.

Seems to come with everything that needed (disc brake, 135mm rear) I have a 3*9 XTR floating around, 952 XTR cranks and a 135 disc wheel with silent hub. Can find/buy the rest

As long as I'm not expecting light or high end, and just a fun project with a buddy, any other concerns?

My only concern would be the bottom bracket shell and head tube come ready to load with the equipment that you have. Do they give you enough information for you to have the correct head set and BB stuff? After another look it seems the right stuff comes with the kit. Go for it. How many times do you have the chance to build (really build) a bike??

Hey that’s pretty neat. Looks like the dropouts they use could be opened up for a belt drive.

Might let me build the townie if my dreams, especially since I can’t find any US Cube dealers who can order the bike I want (haven’t tried the Canadians yet, they might be able to).

Talk to Dave Sand at "the tune shop" in banff. If you need a re-ship person, let me know
