    Seth Pistol Mounting Question

I just got a used seth pistol and tyrolia binding for 200 bucks. Good shape and all.

It is on its second mount and so I don't wanna remount it. Its currently mounted @ +5 or so.

How will I need to adjust my skiing for all mountain rather then park?

Any advice? Is it really that big of a difference?

    Thanks

+ 3 remount would be that harmful?

You wanna post in third section of TGR forums to make it a hat trick?

What size is ski? that makes the biggest difference.
If it's 189 you wont notice much difference for regular skiing. The pistol is so soft that you won't compromise float. If it's the 179 you might notice it more, but not really that big of a deal.
Seth mounts his at +5 and he does alright.

    and um...
You can mount skis three times ya know.

Its a 179...Yea I knew Seth mounted at +5....Sorry for posting here but I was yelled at by the dudes in the regular ski forum...

anyways the tech said he didn't like the hole patterns for mounting it a third time. If it really blows I guess I'll have him do it anyways. Anyways if its a slight difference I don't really care. I'm an intermediate skier I'd say. Blacks and Double Blacks but not insane double blacks.

    Thanks for the advice

If it a 179 and you're going to use it as an everyday ski go around +3. Seth rides his 189 @ +5. 179 @ +5 don't have very much tip. They will float much better at +3.

My 179 pistols are mounted +6, but are only for park. I would remount.

The binding is maxed out as well. So although Its mounted at +5 its probably closer to a +3 or +4 I'll check it out and if it blows then I'll remount. Might as well give it a shot first I figure.

Thanks for the advice though. I guess this gives me an excuse to try to do something in the park
