Glad Kwan stayed so thre Guards can contend.

Was it just me or was this years trade deadline more batshit crazy than usual. Every year ther are a few big trades but this year therere seem to be so many I cant keep up with who is where.

Sad May left Dodgers, hope he helps Sox make a run at the ALCS.

So glad Kwan is still a member of this team. 2 more years of team control mean the Guards could do what they do best: set their very high price and stick to it. The day after the Trade Deadline was Josey Ramirez jersey giveaway day. And $2 Miller Lites in the Corner Bar (Right Field district) and these pics sum up what it takes to be a CLE fan better than I ever could. https://www.instagram.com/p/DM6JMqPS19C/?img_index=1

Hat tip to the Guardos’ Big Rig, Gavin Williams, who took a no-hitter 8 1/3 innings today before Juan Soto took him over the deepest part of Citi Field. Guards still swept the Mets which is awesome, but man, to come one hit (and in the end, one out) away from the no-no would have been cool. Hat tip to the Mets fans at Citi, who all gave Gavin a standing ovation as he walked off the mound. Class move.

Man, big fan so far of the new additions to the Padres. Fingers crossed they keep rolling.

I’d be curious to see those as compared to capacity for each stadium. The Jake is the smallest stadium in baseball (30k I think?) and Truist is a cathedral at 50k+. All are dwarfed by Cleveland Municipal Stadium though which was 85k (and still holds the attendance record despite that Speedway stunt was at Bristol last weekend)

Watching the Dodgers every night feels like going to the dentist every night. They find new and exciting ways to cause me pain every single night. If I have to watch Michael Conforto take postseason at bats this October I’m going to need to check myself into a facility. I cannot remember if I’ve ever disliked a Dodger this much.

Guardos have won 22 out of their last 30 games and have closed the gap in the division to 4 back in the loss column (Detroit was up 15.5 at the ASG), and are a game out of the WC.
With 6 head to head remaining against DET and a favorable schedule, this team playing with nothing more than the power of friendship are going to make it a fun home stretch for this fan.

July 3rd: Dodgers first in NL West by 9 games

August 12: Dodgers and Padres tied for first (68-52)

    LFGSD!

Oh, and if the Angels could pull off a sweep, that would be nice too.

And it's a sweeeeep! Angels own the Dodgers this year.

This LA/SD series will be fire. Thank you Direct TV for the free MLB Extra Innings this year. I've been watching a fuck ton of ball this summer.

Now, for my Giants. I didn't expect much. Was hoping for 3rd in the division with a possibility of making the tourney and maybe getting hot. Then the Devers trade happened and I was really stoked. In all my life, I've never seen them collapse like this. Not just the bats getting cold all at once, but just some bad baseball. Mental errors. Bad fundamentals. It's hard to watch. I've even turned off games at times. Very disappointing season.

They could hang this in their trophy case. Plenty of room in there.
