Jacob Misiorowski is the sickest young pitcher I have seen in a while. Absolutely filthy for the Brewers last night. fanned 14 Dodgers, a good team that doesnt chase.

stuff is next level. Remember that name

Sox needed some wins, perfect timing with the Nats and Rockies. I like this team, Ceddanne is so fun to watch in centerfield and he rips it at the plate, my favorite player this year

Guardos swept the Astros in Houston continuing this yo-yo of a season. They also did something that hasn’t been done by a Cleveland pitcher in almost 20 years, they intentionally balked a runner off 2nd because they saw Houston stealing pitches. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that before.

Kenley Jansen used to do this occasionally. He hates pitching with a runner on second, so if the base runner wasn’t the tying run, he’d balk them over.

Pretty entertaining HR Derby last night. So many balls actually leaving Truist Park was nuts - I’ve never seen that before. One hit by Oneil Cruz set a record at 513’ and even shattered a window at the Chop House bar beyond RF. The flyover was pretty cool too with the F-35, F-22 and C-130 all flying a staging pattern over my neighborhood for a good bit beforehand which was great for all the neighborhood kids to come out and see.

2 F-35s and 2 F-22s did about an hour of holding pattern over the house before the flyover tonight. I think every dad and son in the neighborhood was out in the street watching them roar over. Very cool and probably got everyone fired up to watch the game/see the flyover on TV. Bummed your AL starting 3B Jose Ramirez chose to sit out the weekend to get healthy but LFG in the 2nd half Guardos!

Turned on for the ninth and the finish.
Great way to have a finish vs. extras.

I have to say the way they recreated Hank Aaron’s 715 HR on the field was really awesome. Showcased just how high-tech that ballpark is. It’s not my favorite ballpark but it’s a really cool one for sure.

Ya I liked the finish, but some have been talking about implementing that instead of the auto runner. Uh, no. The auto runner sucks enough. No fucking way.

Great way to end an exhibition game. Not a regular season game. I’m not the biggest fan of the auto runner either, especially since it’s not good enough to be used during the playoffs, but I’m not sure what the answer is when it comes to extras. You have to speed things up once you get to the 10th somehow, so I guess for now it’s the best thing we’ve got.

Welcome back baseball. Anyone see Acuna’s double play from flat feet in right to third base? I mean it was a frozen rope but the first thing that came to mind for me is, how institutionally lazy the Yankees are when it comes to base running. It’s like their hallmark.
