Fucking Hootie right now. My roommate likes the "lighter" side of music...

But this settles it. I am going to my next Boulder Freeride meeting and telling those fuckers the next international trip is to South America. I'm going to make those people read these TR's, and I will be there next summer.

    Awesome TR, mang. Awesome.

What a great run that was.

Unfortunately, thanks to hop, "Since U Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson will always remind me of SA. Fortunately (or unfortunately) song won't be played a couple years from now.

since U been gone????? ughhh... I can barely claim any sort of hold on that song! now Itmustabinluv... yeah, that's mine.

I have probably only heard SUBG 4 times in my life, and at least half of those were courtesy of lph in Las Leñas.

Well, either you're putting the groms to bed or you're lying and really have "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Tour" on your brain.

And before I forget...irul, I feel very sorry for you. I want you to listen to Gimme Shelter twice and then call me in the morning.

Edit: Str8, you bastard. Now I have Brother Love stuck in my head.

I was thinking more along these lines...

Ty: "God damn it, hop. You facking poacher!"

Hop: "Hee. Hee. It's all mine."

Nice TR Arty (as usual). My favorite pic of the bunch. Just thinking about how I'd kill this line makes me drool!

I like how in both of the above pics you can see that Ty is fuming (literally, look closely) at his line having been poached!

Well, the depth didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. But when you consider the fact that the ski is only about a foot off the ground and they had to move several feet of snow just to get to that point, it's definitely not too shabby.

hell ya, nice TR. Also, hell ya on the Verve. "Lucky Man" was my offical powder song for the 99/00 ski season. Was living in Tahoe and have vivid memories of rolling into the lot @ Alpine bright and early blasting this song, all stoked to have just left my corprate job and be ski bumming for the winter.....music and skiing are a powferful combo 'fo sure.

    That was my next guess.

As for the Verve, you've just gotta love them. Especially for skiing. The music is so flowy and...well...just perfect. "So it goes" is another one of my favorites along with "Catchin' that Butterfly."

I started to write the TR using a Juned song titled "Kyuss," but I've never been able to make out all of the lyrics, nor are they one the net. I just love this line:

See all the things I couldn't be,
see all the things I couldn't be,
see all the things I couldn't be,
    see what I am not.

That song just makes me wanna rip the fucking schit out of something.

Actually, Hop got there first if I remember correctly (sorry Ty!).

But those fuming... well that would have been us turds that skied the skier's right side, only to reach the tip of the gully, look up and see what Hop & Ty were standing on top of! Fockers! So we gladly obliged with the photog efforts.

And Schmear, I have a similar pic of Hop & Shoelaces slaying it - photoshopped nicely. Will post it up next week.
