    Why.
If you aren’t turning is it even worth doing?
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

They were going to ski the face, but the powder did not stick to the firm layer so the avie danger was too high

Ahh. Didn’t listen to the audio. Makes sense. But no. Hike back out when the layers are shitty.

I agree, and they should've dug a pit.
But the reason i posted this, is because it's impressive how they kept it together in have of certain death if they slipped

Sounds like there was an original video that made it seem like they did a great, presumably first, descent. Glorifying bad decision making. In this video the guy says that the new snow was drier than they hoped for--but they went anyway. Dumb luck.

One meter in and I was like— “Fuck that.”

    But then he kept going.

    Fuck. All. Of. That.

yea i thought same thing ..1 cut into the slope and theres a 5 ft cornice right above you, with hangfire and wind loading everywhere, and cliff bands below. Seemed like as close to a worse-case scenario as you can start with.

I dont want to judge .... but, i'd buy my plot and write my will before a run like that
