I'm not encouraging anyone else to do anything. Just stating what I need to do for my mental well-being. That is what is most important. And maybe this entire thread is a lie because I'm seeing the headlines and trying not to read and being fairly successful. I did read an article about the Dept of education which pissed me off but also gave me hope.

I’m not gonna lie, a nice piece of sourdough toast with avocado and Tajin is pretty good.

It is. Even better when it's 27-30$ a plate. Makes it easier to look down on everyone else

Better food is more of a generational thing than a partisan thing. Millennials are the foodie generation even in red states. They tend to seek out higher-quality ingredients and more variety

Yup - I figure the homemade piece of sourdough is probably $.05, $.80 for the avacado, and I'll usually splurge and throw a $.30 egg on top.

Yeah - I suppose a few slices of garden grown tomato for another... $.15 or so? Still a pretty good deal.

I should grow my own avocados in the sun room.

I got nothin' but time. Besides, I'm making it during work, so I'm getting paid to bake.
