Shred, I know you have metioned this before, but has a timeline been set for the new 1A project to begin? Also, do you know if the top terminal will be in the current location or will it go a little higher to the top of Gene Reardons and Roch Run?

I don't see any building, that will involve lift 1A, before April of 27.
Where it will start and end is up in the air. But they'll definitely want to monetize Ruthies restaurant for banquets, so there will be a stop. They may take out Ruthies lift and take Shadow Mountain to that summit.

I was very late to the party on Ajax today (11am). Feeding frenzy up there early with no school plus PDW.

I was heading into town when I got a message Owl Creek was closed and diverted to the VX, which opened at 8:50.
First tracks TtB on Bear Claw and tons of untracked down at Campground.

    Puff: I won't know where I'm going until 7am. I'll pm you my #.

    1A @ 8:15ish.
Blue jacket with hood deployed over a white helmet. Probably on dynastar factory teams.

I'll pm my digits and we can ski later this week, if today doesn't work.
    I'm out everyday early.

Solid cycle. Managed some first tracks into Snyder’s and Kessler and GLE yesterday. Nice blower on top of the previous Twenty inches. Looks like we keep rolling with refreshes through the week. Just need a babysitter so I can get a bowl lap in today!

I love days like yesterday. The skiing on Ajax was sensational and nobody showed up until 11am. I started at 1A and walked onto the gondola at 9:15am after my first lap.

I love 1A and how easy it is to avoid lift lines, through out the valley.

Not so thrilled driving in town at peak times.

Went to the Dance Aspen show at the Wheeler last night. Total smoke show of hot women.

Make hay boys! 50F is coming. Might be our last wintry day for a few minutes/weeks/months

Just got cleared to ski again so honestly some nice slushy groomers sound fine to me. Fruita sounds nice too. It’s all better than a boot and crutches!

I feel you, man. Just got the green light myself about two weeks back and managed to do 3 runs at Steamboat today before my legs gave me the finger. GO GET SOME!

I only had a long hour this afternoon but I skied Steep n Deep to G[emoji638] then a half DT lap down Kesslers. Anything that’s seen the sun skied a bit consolidated and affected. But anything with shade still skied relatively cold and consistent. Those spots might survive the weekend but I was surprised by what the on/off sun this week had already done.

What on earth was going on in the canyon this weekend? Got stuck on Sat driving home to Carbondale, had to u turn and take Watson divide, then the exact same thing happened again yesterday. Wife drove through an hour before us and said the road was completely dry

Beautiful weekend though and so fun being back on skis. Lots of jerrys out and some prime people watching. Palm tree fest seems to have unlocked a more advanced tier of the worst influencers
