Heading to Bahamas and Florida for a bit - storms coming - you’re welcome. Looking forward to observing the stoke on this feed while I’m away. Enjoy!

I’ve always wondered what Alta was like in eighties. I think I got a little taste of it yesterday with Wildcat running at what seems like half speed. But if you are going to take a fifteen minute lift ride it may as well be on a beautiful day with marginal snow.

Ran into an old friend that I probably haven’t skied with for a decade and took some laps. Made for a great day in the mountains.

In PC for the week. Not exactly my ideal destination but it’s what the fam decided on and I am along for the ride on the cheap. Will be at the bird at least one day and maybe the beav if I can manage. Purple helmet purple jacket with praxis planks. Ask for change.

Not sure why quote isn&#39;t working for me but.. Alias Rice - Alta has been running exclusively on generator power since Thursday around noon. Not sure of the exact cause but likely poor power quality from RMP causing lots of disruptions in our internal infrastructure. The town got back online pretty quickly, we just got Supreme, Sugarloaf, and Collins on utility power this morning. Wildcat base area and lifts are still running on generator.z<br />

Holy shit. The next generation of freeriders are off the hook. I was completely blown away at the level of skiing I saw today on Silver Fox. Teenager throwing a 3 off the frenchie air. The U 15 kids were going huge. Saw a few young ladies hit 30 ft airs to hard pack and absolutely stomp them. Only saw a handful of runs and my mind was blown. If these kids are doing this before they’ve turned 20, I can’t imagine where the sport is heading. They’re hitting everything big with speed and tricking almost every jump. I was literally more impressed with the skiing I saw today than the last 2 FWT events.

Hell yeah. I guess I should have watched some but was too busy skiing. Excellent conditions the last two days. Fast AF. AC is only on her third day of the season and skied Jaws twice like a champ.

Fun seeing you guys on the way in. Parked back up on the bypass and assumed my mayorhood again.

I’ve missed my bypass people, fun to be back again. Chalky snow was a bonus, the conditions have held up nicely.

Got in one really good run.

For Utah it’s a bit on the thicker side, but I’m from Mammoth so it feels and skis like home.

    But holy f*ck!

    That’s a “healthy” lift line.

Wow! Everyone must have passed the Bird and gone to Alta. Lines were well under control all day, I think I spent 5 minutes max in line through 1230 when I bailed to beat the closure.

Snow was a little upside down but the delayed cirque opening gave me time to poke around Get Serious which I haven't paid much attention too yet this year. Fun day!

Yes, I was one of those people that went to Alta. I’m not sure why, but I was under the impression that SB was busier than Alta. Whatever, It was fun out there today! For about 2 hrs mid morning it was dumping. Good storm riding. The forecast is looking promising for the next few days as well.
