whyturn - Don't think i've seen the externally mounted generator like that one on the new lift. Or i'm not paying attention enough. Although maybe it's on a trailer and it's no supposed to be there forever? Looks like it's there for winter at least.

side note I find it crazy how down to the wire these lift installs go everyyear. I guess so long as you get all the ground work done you can work in the snow and cold and the obvious short build season

Yeah it was quiet until I got within 50’ then the generator had a real hum. I’m glad chairs are in and to explore lightning ridge more. The snow was really good and deep on the north faces and especially in 4 o’clock run. Great to be on the snow again and in nature. Not sure on line positions and future power plans but got to go to their passholder event which was fun.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

If anyone is willing to hookup a discounted daily at Alta with your season pass, I'd appreciate a pm. I can reciprocate with 50% off a daily at Snowbird. Considering heading up today but more likely later in the season.

    TIA

The Mag chargers made an appearance at Alta Sunday. ATLskier in the orange jacket. Catherines skied pretty well. Ran into Upperdaze for a moment at transition. Good to see a lot of people out skiing.

Alta was great today and the fact that BCC was a parking lot made it even better

Fun to be back at Alta and great pockets off wildcat and the backside

Anybody else see the shockwaves travelling overhead thru the air while ASP ran routes this morning? It was pretty neat, first time I've ever seen it (and I have a tendancy to hang out in the lineup listening to bombs a lot). It looked almost like a sundog travelling super fast outward. I'm guessing it was just the right combo of blue skis as a backdrop with a little snow dust floating in the air.
