A singletrack down Greeley would be unreal, but I think the conservationists think there are too many trails as it sits.

Started dumping at Sillytude this AM. For a couple minutes there, it was ripping the fairly crowded WROD in near whiteout conditions. It felt good getting the cobwebs out while having snow blow in my face. Lots of young's up there, including a couple of smokin' hot au pairs from Austria and Sweden. LET IT SNOW!

I've always wondered why ASP didn't run the main high T gate right where the High T trail sign is (the lowest gate). Would be kinda funny to not have any gates other than that one and the sidestep up yellowtrail that could also be the gate to gunsight/thirds.

Kinda sweet for pow preservation, but not very fun when the N facing is all that's skiing good during high pressure

Welcome to the world of ski area employees.

Fall updates: GFS-Downscaled Snow, NAEFS, and SREF have been removed; NAEFS replaced with the new Utah Snow Ensemble; SREF replaced with RRFS-Snow Ensemble. RRFS-Snow Ensemble is experimental and may run intermittently.

If you select them on the left, theres a link to the doctors blog explaining it.

sweet! i remember one preseason not too many years ago, it was too deep to break a line up there... at least for my meager leg strength

Recommendations on where to take skinny skis for a walk for a couple hours early mornings next week very near Park City? snowpacked road or hiking trail would be great. I'm looking at round valley but would prefer some more climbing.

There’s plenty of vert to be had in RV if they have enough snow. Deer valley area up to bonanza flat/empire pass would be the other good option

No complaints from me about Alta’s opening weekend. No lines, no traffic, and enough terrain to keep things interesting.

The kid got a little sendy.

Man, your kid is such a great skier. So much fun to follow him around Andermatt. Glad to see him getting after it!

me n the rest of the Wasatch went up rocky point today, felt amazing to be sliding on snow again

Go up to Empire and park at the mid mountain trailhead. Walk up the guardsmen Road and pick a spot. Plenty to be had in and around Bonanza Flats.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

It was the highlight of the year for sure.

No snowbasin pass for me this year, we should get out and tour sometime though.
