I had to google it. Sounds pretty cool

    WHAT IS THE 500?

An 8-hr and 20-minute (500 total minutes) team or solo race with your boys (or girls). The course will consist of two tamed down moto tracks, a 5-6 mile off-road loop, and a hard enduro section (don’t worry, we have a Scaredy Cat lane). This equates to an average 17-minute lap time for a novice.

Whether you are a Hard Enduro Champion aiming for the pro purse or a weekend warrior looking for fun with your buddies, The 500 is a perfect mix for all skill levels. The goal? Have fun, kick some beers, race your buddies and try not to throw up. Oh, and do more laps than whoever you’re trying to beat.

PS. I don’t know Vicki Golden. But I do know she’s too fast for me

I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

It’s what came up when Googling pit viper 500

Although the red snake does add lcc context.

I rode a lift with two kooks from out East today that were trying to dazzle me with their local bonafides. I wasn’t sure if one of them were Coreshot.

Tip-toeing in unfamiliar snowpack but found some fun and skied past a million Christmas families taking selfies, which was probably more dangerous than the persistent weak layer today.

fun as heck through the morning

Mid day Ice started to build on the goggles faster than it could be cleaned off.
Still fun. I just skied without goggles and swapped to slalom style turns in the crummy light. Weird, it felt like i was skiing in the backdrop of an Allman Brothers concert banner all day; or maybe the dead express it better> what a long, strange trip it has been!

back to 2 more storms needed to fill it in/ ski safe out there!

Going to be spicy adding load to this snowpack, stay safe everyone. Always fun to see the UAC say that we're 'doomed' for the foreseeable future.
