Starting the jus for the prime rib. Got some browned ribeye and pork shoulder bones will simmer . Also making.20 plus gal of roasted chicken stock. Will ultra reduce chix glace add to beef and pork jus, ultra reduce then brown veggies tom paste burgundy wine later in summer herbs etc.

Fkna tits sleeper day at the beav. Snow fell yesterday, heavy, then 10 deg overnight and clear. Sucked all moisture out of the top 5". Untracked everywhere maybe 50 ppl here, another 4-6" on the way tomorrow.

Stuck, I'm in Missoula and would have had a seat for you. But at this time, I'm less than 50% on attending. Knee replacement scheduled for March 4th. That makes the longer drive seem less worth it now...

Wow, well that's certainly a twist. Near as I can gather, byates posted something objectionable in polyass. His summit gofundme (mainly funded by himself) is now saying that donations will be refunded, with no other info. And it looks like he canceled the yurt.

I'll probably fly out anyway, though Beaver Mtn becomes a lot less appealing a destination without the slopeside maggot lounge and crash pad. Maybe we could do a repeat of last year's midweek Alta gathering on one of the days this was supposed to happen?

SLC mags will figure something out ... too bad the Cliff isn't $199 anymore, there has been some maggot shenanigans there in the past. I'll be taking some weekdays off this month, lookin to get some more hours on the hill.. at least what my body will absorb.
