showing all of those slash turns in a row was certainly a choice lol.

and while it raised an eyebrow when i watched it too and couldn’t also get down with all the urban jibbing, the music is good, the woods scenes are great, and that last party with the booter…. wish i was there.

overall i thought it was a great ec short and a throwback to the old meatheads stuff.

The “one-turn wonder”/ “slash turn” is an instagram/self-marketing bullshit move that instantly cheapens and degrades any ski line. Pull that shit in front of me and I’ll run you over in the Fall Line.

… Wait, did I just say that out loud?! Oops.
What I meant to say was that I love seeing the next generation having fun on skis.

No, I am honestly glad when anyone is out in the snow and having fun.. and these folks certainly are having fun. Must’ve channeled my inner Djongo there for a moment.

I do know that if I’m skiing down the hill backwards, something is definitely wrong.

Anyone know if K is starting to sweat being able to host the WC?

The 10 day forecast is brutal and the long range isn’t looking much better, but I’m not betting against K snowmaking.

    mountain biking or skiing?
K can do it with just a few days of cold weather with the amount of guns on superstar.

I am hoping Cannon opens thanksgiving weekend!
    or at least Loon.
Still fishing on Cape Cod. I just put the boat away after this weekend. oddly warm here, especially at night, especially considering the short day.

Doesn't someone from FIS have to sign off on the course a certain number of days before the event for training and all that? Superstar is a little lower elevation than North Ridge.

I guess as you said they know worst case scenario and how many hours it needs to be freezing at night to go full blast and make enough.

the warmth and darkness have been the freakiest thing for me about the new climate we live in.

FIS has to give the go-ahead 5 days before the event. They've done it based on K's snowmaking ability/reputation/track record and a forecast before.
