^^yup.

Was on the b2b yesterday with a couple of dudes from UT. As we went over the fingers they started telling me about a bunch of people on snowerblades ripping down them on Saturday. I was about to tell them what was going on, but then they immediately started speculating about the edge hold, if it would be better, and what size poles to use because some were using really short poles. I decided to sit, listen and smile instead.

Great pics! Which alternate is that? I don’t recall a tree in any of them.

I'd never seen this cute lil chute either - between Nose chutes and the Fingers. Spent a couple days this season trying to work myself into nooks and crannies I'd never seen or skied before at the Mountain Laboratory of Ski-perimentation. This was one of those. Funky little spot. Still pow at 3:00 pm on a pow day.I could not, however, convince myself to send V-Rock on one of those exploration days. That line is intimidating!

Dookey, I posted through Tapatalk. Cannot do squat through the desktop version.

We do need more skiing stoke in this forum - that is for sure! I have not been taking as many pics as in years past so mostly just have scenic shots…

    Agree. More stoke

    and Tapatalk

I only downloaded the app this fall because of pic loading issues. It's the only way I can post pics now.

    Great shots meter

I am gone for the next two weeks but it would be fun to get the palisades/alpine skiers together for a spring skiing and afternoon beers plan at sompe point in April!

Skiing with Dookey and getting to check off Granlibakken from my to-do list was fun. I can now brag that I have skied at every Tahoe area resort.

I'm bummed to hear that loading images is an issue on the forum.

I'll try linking to a video from earlier this month to see if that works here.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on a last minute trip to Tahoe for the kids spring break just for a change of scenery. It would be April 20 through 26. Would be based in South Tahoe where my sister has a house and we have Epic passes so are pretty much relegated to Heavenly and Kirkwood. What's the over under on Kirkwood still being open? Website says the 13th but I know they have stayed open longer in the past.

    ^^

I wouldn't bet on it. Squawlpine is typically the only game in town at that point for the past several years.

Models (esp Euro) have been consistent in showing a wet start to April. Let’s hope it’s cold enough for one last dash.

You might luck out. KW Closed in May in 2022 and '23.
Worst case? You'll be nicely set up for a Mammy road trip [emoji41]

If KW is still open by then there's a pretty decent chance it will be weekends only.

Rose scheduled to close 4/27 and also closed Mon-Wed that final week.

I'd join if I can line my schedule up for it.
