Yes, it's snowing up there right now! But you would think they could keep the guns on since it'll be cold.

Ha. I used to pride myself on being the first person down Loveland Pass every fall. Stick to the woods, ski on pine needles, pretty slippery.

Now I'm waiting for the ribbon, Nov 8 is very soon.

Teeing it up for 18 holes today and Thursday. Let Indian summer continue.

Yeah I hope the singletrack dries out tomorrow so I can ride again starting on Wednesday.

was supposed to go to the front range and do that today. i70 had different plans this morning that I decided not to deal with. In the end I maybe would have been able to make it before my tee time but decided to give it up and not gamble. ah well at least I didn’t sit at the tunnel for an hour or something?

looks like back to warm and sunny but with colder nights than before.

That's the spirit, ski season will be just as fun and long if it starts this time next month.

1st 9 holes were pretty good, wheels fell off on the back 9. Story of my summer. Still good biking available too.

I'm feeling like it could be threading the needle around some muddy low spots but hopefully mostly dry tomorrow. We got about 4" of wet snow, but it was already gone from the sunny west aspect this morning when I walked the dog. Maybe a sunny trail is the key...

There's a truck parked at the top of E lift, looking at the webcam. Incongruous with all the snow on the ground. Guns are running during daytime so that's good.

I came to my senses and realized 30 hrs of driving for 3-4 days of early groomers is insane. Have fun whoever is at wolf Creek.

I'm in Lake, not Summit. But it's melted here.

I should qualify that - melted on sunny aspects!
