Those were the days. Camped way out Kane Creek, shooting Mr. AG's potato gun, and Richard with his sweet maroon turbo Legacy wagon.

Found memories of HarryO’s TGR flick shenanigans over the years with Richard. He just was a light. Always smiling, always generous and absolutely genuine. We had some great talks over the years.

    R.I.P. Inspector Gadget

Damn, that stings. One of the first mags I hung out with after moving to Utah. He was one of a small handful of people that made it easy moving so far from home. I was there for a couple of those weekends riding bikes in the desert with him and crew, making lifelong memories. He gave me some advice that completely altered my trajectory for the better. Genuinely solid dude. Shit. I’ll miss you, Richard.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

While I did not know him personally, remember his discussions, sense of humor and maybe even did a gear deal of some sort on here with him some time back. RIP and prayers for his kids and family.

UPDATE: Richard's family is preparing a celebration of life event that I want to share. Hopefully, you will find this info helpful, and join in for a fun day of skiing at D.V. followed by lots of tasty food and beverages. If interested, kindly click on the link and complete the two question survey.

Was down in SoCal surfing and missed this. It'd been a few years since I had seen Richard at a show and I was just randomly thinking about him last week wondering how he's doing, hoping he's still doing well. It always stings when we lose a fellow Mag, but this one especially stings. Richard was one of the kindest, selfless and funniest humans I've ever had the good fortune of meeting and getting to spend time with. I remember back in 2016 when he first got diagnosed, I was really bummed I couldn't send him any money due to having a back surgery to pay for. He told me not to worry and to take care of myself first. The world is a little less brighter now.

Thanks for posting about his celebration Shin; I will definitely be there.

    Jeez, RIP.

Losing both parents is not fair.

Luckily, both kids are married and have a strong support network.
