    Free Racing Boots

Except you pay the shipping or meet up a reasonable distance from Magic Mountain, VT.

A few years ago, I offered to buy a pair of boots from Timberridge. Instead, he gifted them to me. Don't know why. Never met the guy. Even when he handed the boots off, he gave them to the F&B Manager at Magic and I picked up a day later. They are Atomic Redster WC 130s. And they're fucking RED. Size is 27.5, BSL 315.

These never worked for my feet...all the Atomic boots I've ever tried on have too much volume over the instep but I figured these were racing boots so they should be more snug. Wrong.

In my head, these were Mikaela's boots. I know everybody says she races on 150s but this is my fantasy, so stop with all the negative vibes. Man, she's got big feet for a small female human. They've got the FIS standard stand height printed right on them so you know they came from a real racer...might as well be Mikaela.

Seriously, these liners are pretty racy. Says FIS right on 'em.

Just trying to keep these boots out of the waste stream. Doubt anybody wants them but they were all the rage on Gapicski in the mid-aughts. Technica XT17s. These were "semi-plug boots"...I think the XT24 were the full on plugs but the 17s were stiff as hell and tiiiight. Size is 28, BSL is 320mm. I had Bill H at Green Mountain Orthotics do the full Monty on these. The right boot was planed 1/2 degree (I was slightly knock-kneed on my right leg) and they have a lateral shim at the top of the cuff to also help with that. No straps on these. Don't know what happened to them but they weren't great. I had some Booster straps on them but sold those when I stopped skiing in these (2013-ish?). Maybe 1 grind for the right 6th toe but it was minor. No footbeds. They've been stored inside so no UV damage in the last 11 years. I don't think they'll explode on your first turn but caveat emptor.

I’ll bite on the Atomics, if the shipping isn’t too bad. Always wanted to look like Mikaela and the race suit doesn’t seem to be working on its own. PM incoming.

connersw was first to send me a PM so he's first in line for the Atomics. shank #2, then Eastside #3.

Can't believe nobody is taking a chance on those Technicas.

I was a little taken aback when I saw those Technicas. I skied the lil bro version of this with the carbon Icon cuff and it is arguably my all time favorite boot. Super adjustable, great buckles, mucho forward lean, variable height zeppa...

I'm gonna say these were prob an old school legit 140 stiff.

I had those also...Technica Icon Carbons. Came with a carbon cuff and a regular PU cuff. Mine were a size too big so I found the XT17s at a ski swap (new) for $55. My son used the older ones for a few years until he decided to become a knuckle dragger.
