He wasn't dramatizing that schmear. It was blue ice with 3 inches of fresh on top of it.
There was very little edge purchase to be had. Shot it on June 13.

Sounds like you need some new talent then. Daffies on teles, while laying on your side belong in SKI magazine........
I'm GI JONG though...search my history, I've always supported you, but the ad is pretty gaperish IMVHO. ...my 2 cents...

I've been out with telerob a few times in sketchy conditions. If that's how he skied it, that's how it needed to be skied.

Plus it sounds like you need to hook up Telerob and GI for a ski day together

Yes, I would love to see GI give Rob some pointers on how he can improve his skiing technique.

He was going to do it last year so I could shoot it propa, then the bastid went and broke his leg. If it happens this year, conditions dependent, I want to rope off at the top, perpendicular to the rock, and shoot it from that angle all the way down.

    Dear Kook-
If you look up corest of the motherfucking hardcore in the dictionary, the definition is Tele Rob. He is without question one of the most badass skiers in the country. Get a clue and then talk shit.

At the risk of cunting this thread and stoping the "I wanna have Rob's baby" love fest, I was fingering the Couloir issue in the store and said meh.

Backcountry has been killing it in comparison. The couloir articles were weak in comparison.
Hell, I was gonna buy the couloir "gear guide" until I thumbed through it and realized it was a collection of specifications and marketer's spiel with no testing feedack.
