He is truly an awesome human. Happy Birthday!

Sadly, he's no longer allowed to play with Legos. [emoji16]

Well, at least he doesn't have to be around for the fours years of the junk show.

RIP Jimmy. One hell of a guy

In an interview with Jimmy Carter Michel Enright a distinguished CBC journalist with a rather stentorian voice and a great reputation for broadcasting and journalism entirely out of character refered to Jimmy Carter as " a washed up peanut farmer"

I remember listening to that piece live, I immediatley checking my calender and so it was april 1 but not every body was that astute cuz the CBC got 600 complaints, Michel Enright was soundly/ publicly berated on the front page of the Globe and Mail. So his reply was that he was sorry some of them are angry but he was insulting an actor who was portraying a former president. " I was not insulting a former president."

I hope Jimmy Carter heard the piece and had a great chuckle !

Sadly, even though it was close it looks like the worms won this one. In 1986 when Carter said he was going to defeat the Guinea worms there were over 3.5-million annual cases. He said "I'd like to see the last guinea worm die before I do." This year there were still three reported human cases of dracunculiasis (Guinea worm disease). So that's an 'L' for Jimmy: Worms 1, Carter 0. I suppose the worms just wanted it more.

Rather than focusing on the losses tho, on the plus side a team that is not the Cowboys won the Super Bowl this year
