yeah got both the frame and fork from Gary. Everything else is new. I frigging love it. I'll probably get the Vanilla PUSH-ed over the winter...and I'm thinking of upgrading the shock to the 66 or something next year...but whatever...super-fun bike.

Whatever nothing. Get the 66, get it, gggggeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttt it. If nothing else, it'll just force Arty to get the 888 for his big bike. Oh, and it's just a badass fork.

You're assuming I need convincing. I've only been droooooooling over the 888 RC2X for the last month...must rob liquor store...hmmmm...that might not cover it...

I was beginning to worry that I was obsessing over this too much, but now I realize that I'm doomed. I mean, Ty has his big bike now and you think he'd be happy. Nooooo...he's already talking about upgrades. I'm totally screwed.

I'm trying to maintain my current state of "dumb and happy" with my current ride. If I start to spend money I'm just never going to stop.

You want scary? I've probably got a big chunk of money coming my way sometime in the next year or so. I really should save it all for a house downpayment.

Yup, a 66 would be perfect on that bike. You'll be stoked. I think the 06 66vf2 will have some adjustability. Gititgitit.

Definitely. Also, don't worry I only have 5" of travel...for now...

Shoe has some nice stuff by his house, and of course there's great stuff up at the Ho. And of course there's Downieville... All of which is a long drive for you. Maybe you could make a weekend out of it; or perhaps there's some stuff in the middle. We do expect to see you at Kirkwood this winter, no excuses.

I'd kinda like to check out Auburn...heard there's some good stuff around there. But yah that's a solid 3.5-4 hrs for me...probably gotta be living FT out here before that happens. Kirkwood no doubt this winter!

The money has to happen first, and that's still a ways off, but if you're going to head out riding, in Folsom, let me know. As of next weekend, I should be off restriction. Now, I just have to get back into shape.
