I'll be there next Thursday and free before 1pm that day, you are the local right, tell me where to meet. FYi there is a good chance you live in the Midwest and my trip will be cancelled, but that's out of my control and I'll be in SF soon enough.

The old school touristy places are actually pretty cool in San Francisco, because most of them have lasted for a reason, and the settings can be incredible. Yank Sing for dim sum, The Buena Vista for Irish coffee, Firenze for pasta in North Beach, Tadich, Beach House etc.
My relative invented Irish Coffee, here he is serving it up to some girl named marylin

my cocks absolutely average in length, but I’m sure you, with a family history of marketing the fuck out of sub mediocre shit have a longer won that all the women you pay tell you is the best you’ve ever had. As for the Midwest? It blows, and Utah is where the rancid Jello shit ass recipes go to die.

Anyways, Union Square is a decent place to stay and eat and City Lights and the bar next to it is a fun visit. Just walking around the streets and hills is fun for me, I don't ever know where I'm going or should go, I probably miss shit that way.

If it's around Columbus Day Weekend, the Navy will be there. The Blue Angles. All kinds of air show excitement.
    Anyway, be prepared for expensive.
    No longer stuck.

Historical OG Hipster Bars worth checking out:

    Amoeba Records in Upper Haight
    Groove Merchant in Lower Haight

Green Apple Books in the Richmond District

While Lombard Street often gets top billing, I believe Vermont Street is actually windier. Drive Vermont, walk down Lombard..

See a show at The Fillmore or Great American Music Hall or Cafe Du Nord.

    The Audium

    Seward Street Slides

Moki’s Sushi was one of my go-tos when I lived in The City back in the oughts. The neighborhood it’s in has some cool bars, too.

If the weather is good, grab a beverage in the patio of Zeitgeist.

Audium looks sweet, Dookey! there wasn't a show happening while I was there last week though.

A few weeks ago I saw the sound exhibit at MOMA and it was calming

Pearsall, 23, was walking alone to his car shortly after 3:30 p.m. Saturday after shopping at luxury stores in Union Square when the suspect allegedly spotted the NFL player for his Rolex watch. A struggle ensued, and gunfire from the suspect's firearm struck both Pearsall and the teenager, who was shot in the arm, police said.

    The kabuki has room
deals sometimes and is a cool place to stay in Jtown. Hotel Enso is nice to but pricier usually.

I thought waymos weird factor vanished less than 5 min into the ride.

Where to stay and what should we do in San Francisco?

RS, any food preferences or things you want to avoid? Do y'all eat everything? Do you care about beer, wine, or cocktails? Have you been to Marin and/or are interested in hiking? Obviously you don't need to leave Montana for SF for the outdoors but if you want to get out of the city, Marin has some cool spots.

FWIW, in many years SF had lower incidence of violent crime per capita than Helena, MT.

Car break-ins are a different thing. Even so, in 35+ years, I’ve had a total of 5 car break-ins (the last in 2018).

I've lived in Montana 40 years and had exactly zero car break-ins. If I'd had five in that time I would fucking move.

I’ve lived in sf for 30 yrs now and have had zero car break ins. Knock on wood : jinx/anti jinx. My neighborhood gets 1 or 2 every couple of months or so since Covid. Prior to Covid, car break ins were pretty much in tourist heavy areas , but spread out when that source was reduced during the pandemic. Dont leave shit in the car and your gernerally fine

Sadly, in my town, there's a two-legged demographic that likes to go through people's cars and unlocked garages and outbuildings. If only it was kangaroos. That would be interesting. A few idiots have had handguns stolen from their cars.

Trailheads get hit pretty regular around here in the BZN. And frankly I'm surprised the cat thieves haven't hit the rental car yard at the airport, that's some happy hunting grounds right there.

I can’t live scared like that. Curious though. Would you move after the first one?

Pretty much, I don’t ride my bike at Tiger Mountain near Seattle because of this problem
