    Look lifter plates...and screws

My racerbrat daughter is going to be on rossi race skis this season, Look spx pattern. Anyway, stack on her binding plus the stock plate on the ski is not quite what she needs. I could use two sets of 5, up to 10mm plates and appropriate length screws.

Anyone have suggestions on how to source this?

Should be able to get from your local Rossi/Look dealer or where you got the skis from? Or direct from Rossi/Look?
10mm would be probably be too high for any current FIS ski and put her over height. That being said I haven't had the rush of race mounts/prep yet so don't know if some of the ski/plate/lifter combos have changed.

Wait silly question: I could use any plate and redrill, get proper length screws and voila?

Appreciate the offer. May take you up but should check if any old plate will work.

Irip had a good suggestion for plates with proper patterns if needed

Stack is currently 35mm, I think she can go up to 50.

Cheap way to go if you can't find the right plates is to get a white cutting board. Do a template to cut out the plate size you need (and maybe toe and heel plates separated and cut so the flex is not compromised as much. Drill for the screws to go through them and into the ski or other plates if they are staying on.

    Look lifter plates...and screws

FWIW, I had 916’s mounted on a white cutting board on Rossi XXX’s as described above and skied them like a madman in my early 20s, hucking cliffs around Bridger Bowl and all that and they lasted through my abuse just fine.

I had separate plates for toe and heel pieces, matching my binding base plate. But keep in mind that a jigsaw will heat up and melt the plastic and cutting out is a bitch.

    It’s a bomber mount, though.

Which spx binding? 12 and 15/18 toe plates are different shapes. I may have some extra 5mm rockerace lift kits. Will check.
But I’m confused - you’re measuring 35mm stack for ski, plate and binding??? Never seen or heard of a Rossi setup that low

The Rossi/look/Dynastar plate is stepped (toe is higher) Make sure you are measuring toe and heel correctly. If I remember correctly, I think my kid used 5mm under the toes one year but any more put them over legal height. Those might have been px18s though, can’t remember. You can call Rossignol and order the kits. Comes with correct length screws.
