    Sasquatch Mountain Beta

Hey mags, I'm planning a family ski trip to Sasquatch mountain east of Vancouver BC with the family for February next year and wanted to see if anyone here has beta on Sasquatch.

I know it's not a lot of vert but this is family trip I'm more concerned with kids having fun skiing and I'll go find something to jump off of now matter where I'm at haha. My biggest concern is the low elevation but it is looking like La Nina so that might not matter.

Let me know what you know

    Thanks
    Carry on my wayward son...

It’s my local and a cool little ski hill, and by little I mean little. They *can* get heaps of snow, they didn’t however last season and had to close for a time.

There are a few steep spots where you can make 3-4 turns… a few spots to take air, 3-4 groomers to rip, two short hikes off both lifts will provide some untracked opportunities and there’s a tour lookers left of the resort that provides some side country chutes.

I don’t know here you’re travelling from but if I was looking for a family hill in BC I’d pick Sun Peaks or Kimberley.

Thanks that's what I was looking for, we are in Seattle so one benefit of sasquatch is a short drive and affordable lift tickets but I'll look more into Kimberly that was also on my radar

A little piece of history- Sasquatch formerly known as Hemlock was Mark Abmas home resort.

I’ve skied Hemlock several times. It will keep you entertained for a few days. You could also hit up Manning Park for a few days after…
