This is set to be the most annoying SCF since.... checks notes.... last year.

So much for the thread title. I was pulling for you Carolina.

The panthers are impressive. Edm/dal will have their hands full. I won’t watch Fla-dal.

I have to admit to no one in particular, that the Florida sweaters/unis are pretty clean looking.

Everyone shitting on Vegas should thank them for not letting Florida walk to a three-peat. The Bruins front office should be publicly flogged for letting Marchand go to them.

File under "shit that annoys me"

He is unequivocally an asshole on the ice, but a helluva player. As a B's fan, the only slightly bright spot of a Panthers win would be him.

He's been a better player for the Panthers than he has been for years with the Bruins. As far as being an asshole, on a team full of them he doesn't particularly stand out.
Losing Hyman is going to hurt against the Panthers. Having a banger on your top line would help a lot against a team like that. The Oilers have figured out that they aren't going to win on finesse and speed alone and that McDavid cant play 60 minutes. Hyman was part of that. So was McDavid--he was on the ice most of the last half of the third, playing d and protecting the lead.

Hyman is a big loss. The panthers are nasty all the way around. Edm undoubtedly learned a lot last year. Should be a good series.

It’s on. I’d like to see McDavid get his cup. Oilers in [emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji639]]

That OT goal has to sting extra for the Panthers, PPG due to puck over the glass

This is going to be a good series. Glad they got that win!

Marchy skating away from "the entire blue shirts in his back pocket" shows that old man can still move with the puck

I was relieved that a) Oilers won in OT, and b) Darren Pang wasn't doing in game commentary or whatever it is they call his babbling

DeBoer out in Dallas. Piling on Ottinger may have cost him his job. As a Wild fan, I’d love to get to three straight conference finals.

Nice of Dallas to wait until all the other coaching vacancies had been filled to fire DeBoer

Seems Bob is taking a beating, and anything near Skinner is a penalty. Bob's fought off some heavy contact

Nice, Perry comes through clutch and ties it in the last minute. Back to OT!

As a b's fan, the og rat is Linseman. It's still just weird for Marchy to have that nickname, too,

Happy for him, but come on oilers!

It's game 2? You have a 50/50 chance at being correct, but wtf?

    Let's go Edmonton!!!
