If the Pacers & OKC make it to the finals then it will have happened because they traded away Paul George. Nothing against Paul George. Just an observation seen on Reddit: Pacers traded PG for Oladipo and Sabonis they helped develop and then traded for Haliburton. OKC traded PG for SGA & picks/swaps one of which was Jalen Williams

I don’t know much about OKC, just looked at the roster and don’t recognize many names. Granted I don’t follow college ball or nba beyond Indy, a little Celtics since I live in NE.

7 game series are perfect. It used to be 5 in round one and it kind of sucked and led to some flukes. First round was by far the most entertaining this season.

I think Thibs got as much out of that team as anybody could've

disagree. they had one of the best starting 5s in the NBA, and just saw a stat that the starting lineup (Bridges, Towns, Brunson, Hart, Anunoby) was outscored by 31 points in over 300 minutes in the playoffs, and was outscored from Jan. 1 through the end of the regular season.

I think other coaches could have unlocked more. Thibs is a very good coach, and given that Bud and Doc have titles, he's good enough to win one too, but I do think he could have done more with this team.

Holy shit, I didn’t know Indy won until reading this thread just now. That’s what I get for being a post surgery oxy huffing couch dweller this month, must have dozed with around two minutes on the clock and woke up hours later in a fog. FKNA what a win, OKC’s d is impressive
