Well, when the rumors of GSW being interested came out, it pretty obviously had to include Wiggins. So that's not really a surprise.

Spurs first game with Fox and they look good in holding off the Hawks.

Da'Aaron puts up 24 pts and 13 assists.

The reason we forget what a motivated Jimmy Fucking Butler looks like is because that is so damn rare.

2024-2025 NBA thread: who wants to buy a Duck Boat?!?!

The warriors will get the best version of jimmy butler for the rest of the season or two but then the end of his new $121 million over 2 years contract will near its end and he’ll start with the same bs. Also, somehow the jazz were also involved in that trade and Dennis Schroer is heading to the jazz where we likely waive him so we can continue to lose games (not that I think Schroer moves the needle but he is better than collier and Keyonte)…. Hopefully not as I like Schroer but that seems to be what the jazz do.

Either way, I’m loving a lot of these trades (except Luka to the lakers)! I love all these mixups in today’s NBA and the constant movement of players.

Yes, hopefully the Jazz land Flagg but this draft is loaded so I won’t cry if the jazz don’t. I think Ryan Smiths real target is AJ Dybantsa. Smith did foot the bill to get him to commit to byu next season so you know the jazz will be tanking next season too

Ingram didn’t get much in return.

I think Butler likes his own face too much to throw down with Green.

Jimmy F'in Buter personifies what a lot of casual fans, sponsors and David Stern have been complaining about (and trying to fix) when it comes to the NBA product: it's not that compelling during the regular season because the players generally play several gears down from playoff-mode basketball, stars pick and choose when they want to play, and its generally a lot of going through the motions from Christmas to April. Then, come April 1 none of the past 6 months seemingly matter and its full-throttle basketball through June if they're lucky.

He was super motivated to make excellent espresso for all the players during Covid lockdown in Florida.

It’s almost as if their season is too long and too many teams make the playoffs

@bmills, yes, exactly. That's why I like players like D White and Payton Pritchard. Always Be Closing. So much hustle. Other teams have their own versions. Payton Pritchard for sixth man of the year!

Shams Charania reports: The Atlanta Hawks are trading forward De'Andre Hunter to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, three second-round picks and two swaps, sources tell ESPN.

I like the deal. Hunter fills a need at forward but I'll miss Niang and LeVert (both I believe were gone after this year anyway).

Apparently it also gets the Cavs below the cap and two open roster spots so they can go to the buyout market now as well.

How does this trade affect the Cavs post season chances against Boston? Asking for a friend.

    More size on the wing.

You Chowds like to chuck up a million 3s, this will help stop that to some extent.

Trae deserves to play with another big name, that's for sure.
