    According to a post on 14ers he was on skiblades. Pretty steep line in summer snow if so.

    There was an incident I think 2 seasons ago where bladers rapped into Coin Slot, slid out the whole line, and had to be evac'd by SAR

    Well, where do you think they came from? Mountaineers have been using firn skis for a long time, they usually used plastic or leather double mountaineering boots. Sure beats glissading. Even here of Kniessel Big Foot?
