Wow, Amaury is back. Really back.

From missing a season with a broken back to laying down this run?!
    On this course?!
    In these conditions?!

That run was completely fucking insane.

I thought Dak layed down a nearly perfect run. Especially after Bruni and Finn went slower, it seemed like Dak had a solid win on his hands. And then for Amaury to come through almost 5 seconds faster was unbelievable. One of the greatest runs of all time.

It occurred to me that right now we have 3 once in a generation talents competing together. Well, hopefully they'll all get healthy together and race together.
Loic, Amaury, and Jackson are each capable of laying down miraculous runs and seem capable of doing it with fantastic regularity. Each has shown that when everything is clicking for them, nobody can touch them.
Everyone else is just racing against those guy's off days. We the spectators are the real winners.
However many are in a shit ton.

I know nothing about these guys and don't follow DH at all - and that was totally fucking insane. I could ride about 10% of that course and navigate another 40% and it otherwise looks like a tough hiking trail to me. Insane at that speed.
