Well I’m a dumbass. Selected Philipsen as my sole sprinter but forgot to name him as my winner for the stage

Awesome stage, awesome battle in the last 10km. I was hoping vauquelin would make something stick, but it wasn't meant to be--not for lack of trying!

I don't want to spoil anything yet but I couldn't be more pumped for the rider who crossed the line first today. Long overdue and so well deserved.

Am I the only one who can’t see shit on the fantasy website?
There’s a big static banner running through the middle of the rankings page, covering the identity and scores of the top three..
I can’t figure out how to see the stats making up my score.

Sigh

Didn’t watch live as I had some stuff to get done this morning…will check in on all the crashes later

I have issues on the iPad too tho they re slightly different since I’m using safari
Seems like the web team doesn’t really test in iOS…

It pained me to trade WvA last night but he's just not back to himself yet. Bought into MvdP considering a few up and coming stages favor the puncheurs. Woke up this morning with two of my guys in the four rider break!

Damn yesterday’s stage was puckering.

Dislocated my shoulder riding the bike park this past weekend, so it’s been nice to have several hours of tv to watch each day with the tour and makes my dislocation feel minor.
Especially after seeing poor Philipsen with his jersey all ripped apart from that crash and needing surgery.

Heal up young lady! That had to hurt.

How long was it before the docs got it back in the socket?

Thanks guys.
Of course it wasn’t doing anything daring or fun. We pulled off the trail onto the road to chat for a sec- Then as I went down the road to turn back on the trail, the bike slipped out on deep gravel and I took it to the shoulder.
Luckily we were close to a mid station and a patroller drove me down on the sxs. We also have a good medical clinic at the base so they were able to reduce it there.
I think it was about 80-90 minutes before they could get it back in.
First timer, so in a way I feel lucky that I’ve had 25 or so years of riding without one yet.
Apologies for the hijack- maybe I’ll resurrect a gimp thread as I know there are many [emoji1]
Haven’t watched today’s stage yet!

@Benneke10 impressively had MVDP and Rickaert in his line up today, and had his stage winner bonus on 2nd place Milan. Nice work. I wanted MVDP to get that one so badly!

Katfive starting to make her annual imprint on the game…prescient lineup selections!

I see Visma trying stuff, but mostly it just fizzles… Pogacar, despite being down in domestiques, doesn’t seem all that bothered at all.

TT coming up likely to be a decisive sorting again
Maybe it’s where Lipowitz adds time into Roglic & Pogacar puts another minute into Vingegaard?

Thank gawd for a rest day. Last night after dinner there was not a single question like, "How may points is Vauquelin, and he's a leader, not a climber right? Is there anyone else on Arkea that they would work for, or is he the whole team" I joke, but it's nice to have a rest. I think Thursdays Time Trial is going to be a big decider day.

The race is over after Hautacam, now it's just a coronation. I was hoping there would be a little more suspense, looks like it's turning into a snooze fest

The level he's on over everyone else is incredible. Jonas killed everyone and then was equally beat by Tadej. I can't help but be skeptical...

We've been saying the same thing in the PDX household. He's never even looked like he's suffering that much. I'd like for him to be clean but the sport has a history

You are all missing the big issue. What's really important. The elephant in the room about Pogi:

Skepticism is warranted, but on the other hand I have listened to one of his former coaches talk about testing him as a junior when he was definitely clean and his base physiological parameters were just off the charts. Genetically he is a freak among freaks. It would take something really crazy to make this a competitive race again, but there is a lot of racing left to go and crazy shit happens in bike racing (that Stage 11 crash could have turned out much worse). He is also surely gunning for more stage wins so that will be exciting even if the GC stays locked up.
