    1. As I proved last week, not much.

    2. Plane tix, $ 850, lodging with 3 others $300, as much expendable $ as possible just to make it a little more fun.

    3. In Sept, the tix were a little more than $20 US

    4. Early Sept was all good, and skiing is tough when there isn't a tree around and it's storming. The best days were after it stopped snowing and went bluebird. Course, I liked the corn and slush as much as the pow, but it's hard to go wrong in Sept.

Do it, you won't regret it until they lose your bags on the way back

    1. None? I dont speak spanish, and only about 10 words of italian. No probs.

    2. 3 weeks min. I got sacked out in LL big time. 4 days of sun,9 days of storm and very little skiing,1 day of sun. No human being should go through that... And when you are there,it´s dirt cheap anyway.

    3.Yes,it´s pesos.

    4.Santa Rosa -> Sept.

Next time, yes, I will go there again, will be september for me too. I mean, pow is nice,if you can have it, but skiing ANYTHING is nicer than not skiing at all.
I have been whining in the past that i havent seen that much pow in my life that i would have liked, but for what i care, i can live without pow if i only can see to ski.

    Gimme crud,ice,slush,mank,windcrust,pretzels,whatever..

    But I just want.to.see!!!

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

I just left 3 weeks (about one too many for my tastes given my $$$ situation among others, but I did hit the weather window just about perfect) in Las Leñas for San Martin de los Andes and while the skiing in LL is second to nowhere (as long as you can see....) I´m stoked to be out of a prefab resort town and into some real Argentina.

You don´t need any Spanish skills at all, but then again you don´t want to be "that gringo" do you?
2-3 weeks should do it IMO, esp if you don´t plan on going too far off the beaten path.
A five consecutive day ticket was the best deal at about 312 pesos or just over $100. I probably spent about $250-$300 a week give or take for lodging and food and tickets and beer.

Be aware there is not much to do on down days except drink and traverse tables.
Putting the "core" in corporate, one turn at a time.

I'm getting really excited about this idea and its a year away... I defiantly want to do it. But first I have to get the winter season out of the way, and really work on my technical skills so i can rip in SA

The season is looking like this:
5 days in tremblant to start things off
[Whistler is out of the picture now in favor of LL]
1 week in utah or colorado
1 week early april in mammoth
    a weekend trip to VT
filling in the days in between at local hill

    Then:
Lenas of 2-3 weeks in august
September move to the bay area (if all goes as planed) and become a kirkweed weekend warrior

hopefully by the end of the season i will be in tuned, and can stay in some sort of shape for lenas. As always anyone is welcome to come on any of these trips. (i acquired some timeshares like i posted before, so i will use that where i can, and hostel the rest)

By 2007 I plan to be bankrupt (thats a lot of shit for a poor college student, even if I am putting in my 30 hours a week)

That is a SHITLOAD of trips...

I'm hoping for maybe a couple foreign daytrips and one big trip, MAYBE. MAYBE a weekend at the Butte. That's like 4 days plus a trip that aren't on my pass.

    You are nuts, droopy.

But I would be stoked on going to Lenas also.
