    Cloudveil softshell pants/bib ?s

Does anyone know the differences between a Cloudveil Black Ice Bib and an Ice Floe Bib?

I suspect the Black Ice is the current year's version to replace the Ice Floe, but I'm not sure. I can see the tech specs for the Black Ice on the Cloudveil site (their recent winter line), but can't locate much spec info whatsoever on the Ice Floe. Cloudveil lists the Black ice as a softshell, and what little I can find on the Ice Floe I suspect it's the same.

Anyone using an Ice Floe, how do you like it?

I'm on my 3rd season on the Floes. Like all softshells, they're better in breathing than water repellency relative to gore-tex. But there is something great about the fabric even when wet, theyr'e warm. I ski in the PNW in 'em and CO and I'm really satisfied. I still have some northface pants and another pair of Moonstone gtx bibs, but I prefer the Cloudveils.

    ^ bump ^

... and to expand and get any opinions/comparisons on similar bibs from AcrTeryx, Patagonia, Marmot, Mountain Hardwear and perhaps Millet. From their website I don't think pattie is making any bibs this season.
