I have an old yeti jacket that's like softshell/polartec/brushed fleece... and i want something similar but with a hood. it's more flexible softer wearing than TNF Apex but it's harder and more abrasion resistant than a TNF canyonlands hoody, closest thing i've found is this....

does such a jacket exist?
yeti now makes the monstrose hoody, but hoping for something cheaper tbh. and not sure it's similar to what i have
want it for outerwear when it's cold and windy but less wet
tldr: thicker and more robust than a canyonlands/rei piece but not as robust and thick as apex hoodie

Buy Canadian, eh? This is my one and only MTB jacket, it's soft shell breathable nonwaterproof material with dwr coating, and works really well. And it's made in Canada and the fit and finish is next to none
